About me & this portfolio...
I was born in a country called El Salvador, which is located in Central America. I came to live in this country when I was fourteen years old. I began to learn English and started taking art classes in Junior high school.
My love for art has always been present in my life, even when I was just a three year old toddler and would play and draw roses with my mother's lipstick.
The opportunity to live in this country has allowed me to live within another culture which enriches my point of view and enhances the influence and gives me new knowledge which goes into the art I make.
I am a student at Salt Lake Community College, where I am currently completing a generals degree and have also already completed an associates in Illustration through the visual arts department.
I am now working on attending Savannah College of Art and Design, I would love to pursue my dream of designing and making my jewelry. I am interested in SCAD because this educational institution has an amazing range of artistic programs that could help me in the pursuit of achieving this dream.
As an upcoming artist I have demonstrated great skills such as: Drawing using different techniques, Painting, Photography, making and designing Jewelry and much more. I have enjoyed working in multiple artistic fields, such as Illustrating, mural painting and Silver-smithing. A lot of effort and hard work has gone into the creation of this portfolio, which is like a window and invitation for you to take a glimpse into my artistic world.
Welcome and Enjoy!
***BIG thanks are in order since a lot of these changes were accomplished with the help of my friends:
